Hello dear friends!
This last weekend I tried an old idea I had fooling around my head for years regarding a crystal set. It is a simple way of enhancing selectivity (not sensitivity, strictly speaking) without resorting to an active circuit. The attached schematic explains what I did. It is a sort of “passive” regenerative circuit that utilizes residual RF energy present after AM detection, steering it back to the tuning tank in correct phase with the incoming AM-modulated signal. With this add-on you get a sharper tuning of received stations.
I have tried it with a tree-antenna boosting a ferrite-antenna crystal set and with a tuned loop antenna, also as a booster of the ferrite-type crystal set. It remains testing the receiver with my 11-meter long and 7-meter tall outside aerial and a good ground connection (so far, a connection to a cold water tap)

SRI, nemam čas na překlad ani sem dát všechny komentáře. Pokud budete chtět napsat Ramonovi (anglicky nebo španělsky) pošlete to mě a já to přepošlu. Sám jsem zatím neměl čas to zkoušet a obávám se, že tak měsíc mít čas ještě nebudu....pak se na to mrknu krysím vokem.
