I tried reducing the 1M8 plate resistor of the left
triode for more screen light. I reduced it down to 150k. I obtained more green
light, but no variation of illuminated area with signal amplitude. Also, the smoothness
of regeneration control is much better with lower plate current, this is, with
1M8 resistor. I will next test taking out the RF choke. It is useless (in
theory) with the 62k-ohm resistor in parallel. Volume is very good. Loud and
nice tone.
