In the USA NTE parts are often easier to find than single quantity Asian parts. NTE still supplies many parts in DIP format (new builders: DIP = dual in-line package for through hole building). NTE parts are intended primarily for consumer product repair. They usually duplicate a part made in Europe or Asia. Therefore, there should be no export difficulties with NTE parts.
