Novy1 Been receiving Venezuela Ch A2 Tves again from about 19.55BST,first on
a conference speech by Mr Chavez,the president,then an id and then
onto cartoons around 20.25BST.

Got an id + sound but it was a bit ghosty and messy.

This transmitter isn't the same one as last week,around 55.249220MHz
and the other one from memory was around 55.250050.

Signals were briefly up to ch A4 but these were very weak

Just after the Venezuelan reception another signal appeared
on ch 2 with a logo at the top right though very ghosty.
Finally had an ident "Tele Antillas" around 21.40BST
Frequency was measured at 55.260033 MHz.
From doing a quick Google search find this is from the Dominican
Republic.

I'm moving to Portugal, you get all the best DX Hugh. Cyprus was good but so
much R1, 2 &3 and sometimes 4. Couple of E4 unids to try and identify. And Hey
Dave in Paris and anyone else taking DX type gear abroad. Leave laptops, normal
radios in hand luggage and put Weird aerials , Scanners, Long aerials etc in
your suitcases (more room for booze in your hand luggage anyway). Thats the
secret.

Have you a link to the E4 Pakistan or India Logo. The one I am most intrested
in is E4 female newsreader in a Burka.
