Zemětřesení v Peru

Jak jsem tak opravoval ráno bednu, vidím, že v Peru bylo zemětřesení přes stupeň 7! No a po zapnutí komplu jsem zjistil, že mi už přišly zprávy (odtam).
Jelikož doufám, že umíte aspoň trochu anglicky a nejsem schopnej takhle po ránu něco překládat, posílám původní dopis, tedy jeho část. Podotýkám, že Ramon žije v Limě, což je hodně severněji, než bylo epicentrum, přesto ovšem:

Yes we felt it!!!! It was strooong!!....and lenghty!!! I was on a third
floor at work and when things turned scary I decided to walk down to the
first floor. Second after second the quake's intensity augmented. When I
arrived to a grass field, I felt like being on a water bed. The buildings
inside our campus released cracking sounds while shaking chaotically. Then
things seemed to quiet down a bit, but sudddenlny started all over again
with regained strength. I said Mama mia!! Countless minutes passed.
Immediately I thought of my wife at home and all my family. Everybody trying
to phone their relatives. The telephone service had collapsed. Thanks to
God, an engineer at the help desk loaned me his VoIP phone and could manage
to talk to my wife. Then I headed home. Thanks to God no traffic problems.
Then waiting an eternity for our son to phone. Finally, ten minutes ago we
received his call from Trujillo. He did not feel the quake there. He is OK.
However, relatives of a lady that works here at home live next to the coast
line directly in front of the epicenter point. We fear for them, but
strongly hope the Providence has been merciful with them and they ared safe.
The Tsunami alert has been withdrawn for our coast line.

Naštěstí jsou tedy všichni mí známí v pořádku, ještě že podobná zemětřesení nejsou moc pravděpodobná tady....
